Dennis Brubacher was presented with the CFBA Gary Award on March 25, 2026, at the 2026 CFBA Conference by Gary Van Bolderen, for whom the award is named.

This honour recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to and achieved excellence within the Canadian farm building industry—qualities Dennis has exemplified throughout his career. Since beginning in 1971 with Frey Building Contractors, his natural talent and passion for agricultural construction have been evident, leading to a lasting impact across Southern Ontario through the development of countless farm storage facilities and barns. Through his work, including his partnership with Dutch Masters, Dennis has helped deliver some of the province’s most outstanding equine facilities, guided by a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. A respected leader both on and off the job site, he has set a high standard for safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement, while remaining a dedicated supporter of the CFBA.
