Contemporary 8-Stall Horse Barn
Designed to turn heads, this contemporary horse barn delivers as designed
The complexity is in the details, so that the clean lines allow for a very simple modern look that is unique in many ways
Exterior cladding includes many custom one-of-a-kind finishes, including:
-Giant custom SCM panels (steel) that are one-piece, 4-sided boxes @ 3.5’ x 2’
-Custom 2-tone black & dark grey contemporary steel B&B siding panels
-Lots of custom trims around rooflines & dormers
-Hidden downspouts inside of each of the 20 dormers
-Extra thick gauge steel for all trims prevented any oil canning any time of year
-A European-influenced courtyard sits between the horse barn & storage barn
-Extra-large windows for optimal daylight & great airflow plus adding to the unique design elements
20 flat top dormers, fitted between engineered girder trusses, allow for double the amount of natural light in the barn
Wide timber porches front & rear with black stained Douglas Fir timbers, intentionally blends into the background
The horse stables feature 8 spacious horse stalls with individual water to every stall, a tack room, feed room, wash stall, staff office, & space for a future bathroom, along with an easy access hay/shavings room
Other details include a custom-designed hidden ventilation system, security, internet, geothermal heat & cooling in all interior rooms with in-floor heat for rooms & aisles, 1.25” rubber mats in aisles & wash stall, and huge 10’ x 10’ custom-hinged dutch doors
The courtyard features rubber flooring and matching style 6’ high partition walls
The attached farm storage building includes 2 large overhead doors, heated flooring, hidden slot drain, built-in sound system & cameras, and plywood-clad walls & ceilings
