In response to the WSIB's decision to eliminate the Second Injury Enhancement Fund (SIEF), Ontario industry associations are launching a coordinated advocacy campaign urging the provincial government to reverse the decision. SIEF has provided employer cost relief for more than 80 years, and its removal—implemented without consultation or advance notice—will significantly increase employer costs across the province.
