At the CFBA's Annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday, September 18th, Dufferin Concrete received donations at their sponsored golf hole in support of Campfire Circle, a charity for children affected by childhood cancer, and their families.
We are pleased to report that a $1060 charitable donation was raised by CFBA golfers on this day.

We are pleased to report that a $1950 charitable donation was raised by CFBA golfers on this day. This is the largest amount collected ever at a CFBA golf event. The 50/50 prize winner from Agway Metals very generously donated back their $975 winnings to the charity.
CFBA Builder Award winner HFH donated their "Project of the Year" prize of $500 to the cause.

The CFBA made a $1000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross to support to Canadians impacted by Hurricane Fiona; a donation that was matched by the Government of Canada.

The CFBA made an in memoriam donation to the Regional HIV/AIDS Connection, in memory of Mr. Greg Burke, at the request of his family. Greg was a representative of long-time CFBA member, Vicwest, on the CFBA Board of Directors from February 2016 to December 2020. The CFBA dedicated its 2021 Golf Tournament to Greg. Gone but not forgotten.

Through this initiative, CFBA Members generously contributed $1275.00 to Camp Ooch - Camp Trillium at this event and made a difference in the lives of children with cancer. We sincerely thank CFBA members for their generosity.

At the CFBA's Annual Conference on Friday February 28th, Gary van Bolderen of Dutch Masters Design & Construction Services was recognized for his exceptional contribution to and achievement in the Canadian Farm Building Industry and awarded with a number of special recognitions, including a $500. donation to Gary's charity of choice. At Gary's request, a $500. donation has been made by the CFBA to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre's ENBRIDGE RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER. We thank our members sincerely for their support.

The Farm Building community lost an esteemed long-time member and friend; Mike Parker, the CFBA’s former General Manager passed away on Saturday September 17th, 2016. He was the strength behind the Board of Directors for the Canadian Farm Builders Association for nine years. The CFBA has made a donation in Mike's memory to the Stratford Rotary Hospice Project.

The CFBA wishes to show support for the citizens of Fort McMurray & area, and the CFBA Board of Directors approved a $1,000.00 contribution on behalf of CFBA members and the Association. Monies will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross - Alberta Fires Emergency Relief to assist the residents who may have lost their homes and are in distress due to the wild fires that are burning out of control in the area. Donations/pledges will not be requested from CFBA members, but the CFBA will instead donate the $1000.00 on their behalf. We thank our members for their support of this donation.
