4-Stall Private Horse Barn

This client wanted a spacious barn with great airflow, lots of daylight, and a unique look

To enhance the airflow & natural light, this mono-slope design was presented and selected as the ultimate design for the client’s needs

The contemporary-colored exterior, accented with stained wood dutch doors and recessed entrance, makes this barn stand out

A timber frame interior structure, with rafter framed roof provides a lofty contemporary design that echoes the feel of the century-old bank barn the client grew up with as a child

High vaulted ceilings allow for additional windows for optimal daylight, and at the same time increases the air flow in the design

The cladding with natural white ash t&g clad walls and smooth white ceilings compliments the spaciousness of the design

The 4 horse stalls maximize the space with hinged doors to allow an open stall front design

The recessed entrance front & back shortens the aisle length so that daily cleanup is efficient

Complete with a 12x12 tack room that doubles as a feed room & mechanical corner plus a 12x12 hay/shavings storage for multiple month supply of overnight food & bedding

Hay door features a pocket sliding door so no tools or hay will be in the way, and the tack room features an extra wide 42” door to easily move feed, saddles & other gear

Exhaust fan built above the rear entrance to keep the barn air fresh in any season/weather
